These Terms of Service govern your use of the services provided by Doctate ("we", "us", or "our"). By using our WhatsApp agent and related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Doctate offers a WhatsApp-based agent that enables medical doctors to dictate clinical notes using voice messages. Our specialised AI processes these dictations, transforming them into structured Microsoft Word documents delivered back to you.
As a qualified medical professional, you are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information you transmit. You must obtain all necessary patient consents in line with HPCSA guidelines and POPIA, and you are advised to minimise the inclusion of patient-identifiable data where not essential.
By using the Service, you authorise us to process the information in your dictations to provide and enhance our Service. All data processing is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms.
We utilise third-party services to deliver our core functionality. While we vet our partners carefully, your data may be processed by them as a necessary component of our Service.
The Service is provided "as is." While we aim for high accuracy, we do not guarantee error-free document generation. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all clinical notes before use. Doctate is not liable for any damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, at any time, particularly in cases where these Terms are violated.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from the Service or these Terms will be resolved in South African courts.
